California white sage has been used by indigenous Americans for centuries to raise positive vibrations and to bring clarity and focus to the mind which can be used as apart of cleansings, meditations and healing rituals.
Originally only the leaves you intend to use are burned at each ritual and not the entire bunch at once. This was the teachings of my sister in law who was raised and born in the Sioux tribe.
